Where there is a till
The moment a system takes money, it stops being an app
It becomes accounting, and the rules change. These four decisions are what separate a point of sale from a pretty app that balances most of the time. In the one we operate, they are covered by 168 automated tests that run on every deployment.
The server decides the price. Always.
The amount the phone sends is never accepted, however much the app is ours. A knowledgeable customer can alter what their phone transmits, and if the server trusts it, they have just bought at their own price. The phone says which product; how much it costs is decided by the backend against its own database.
A double tap does not charge twice
When the network is slow, people press again. If every press creates a charge, the customer pays twice and someone will have to refund it by hand. Every operation carries its own identifier: if it arrives twice, the system recognises it already processed it and returns the same result instead of duplicating it.
Nothing is deleted, everything leaves a trail
A void does not delete the sale: it marks it as voided, with who, when and why. Same for a price change or a discount. A system where an operation can be made to vanish is not a management system: it is a hole with an interface, and the one who takes the hit is the owner.
Discounts have a cap, and the cap depends on the role
The cashier can apply up to a certain percentage; above that, a supervisor is needed. It is not distrust: it takes the pressure off whoever is facing the public from deciding alone against an insistent customer. And at closing, the discrepancy is calculated automatically, with nobody subtracting by hand.

Do I need to install servers or software?
No. It is 100% cloud-based: you only need the iOS or Android app, or a browser. There are no own servers or local installs to maintain.
Can I manage several stores from one place?
Yes. The system is multi-branch: you manage all your stores from a single panel, with role and permission control for admin, store and cashier.
Does it integrate with my current billing system?
Yes, the software integrates with your existing billing system, so you don't duplicate processes or change how you invoice.
Does it work without an autonomous store?

How do you stop a double tap charging twice?
Every charge carries its own identifier. If the same one arrives twice —because the network was slow and the person pressed again— the system recognises it already processed it and returns the same result instead of creating a second charge. It is the difference between a point of sale and a sales app.
Can the price be changed from the phone?
No. The amount is never accepted from the client: the phone says which product is wanted and the server decides what it costs against its own database. A system that trusts the price its phone sends can be bought from at whatever price someone who knows how to tamper with it chooses.
Can a sale be deleted?
No, and that is deliberate. A void marks the sale as voided, recording who, when and why; it does not make it disappear. Same for price changes and discounts. A system where an operation can evaporate does not protect the owner, it exposes them.
How is the till discrepancy controlled?
With till opening and closing, a cash count and automatic discrepancy calculation: nobody has to subtract by hand at the end of a shift. Discounts carry a per-role cap, so the cashier can apply up to a certain percentage and above that a supervisor is needed.
